Columbia Label has the capabilities to print in standard four color process plus white, as well as to provide UV matte and gloss spot varnish, silver and gold foiling, embossing, perforations, and more.  They print with both digital and flexographic roll label presses which allow more options for their customers’ roll label needs.  In addition, creating a one-stop-shopping solution, Columbia Label’s sister company, Rippedsheets.com, produces custom die-cut printed and blank sheet labels, tags, stickers, and wristbands for both inkjet and laser printers in any shape or size.  In addition, many of the materials and inks available from Columbia Label and Rippedsheets.com are eco-friendly, made from recycled materials, and sourced as often as possible from local vendors, creating a truly sustainable business model with minimal environmental impact.

Low Priced Beer Can Shrink Sleeve Labels

At Columbia Label, we have been printing low cost custom wine labels for years. Recently, while shopping, the boss noticed that some of the canned microbrews were sporting shrink sleeve labels.  Having been in the print industry for years, we can guarantee that printing on the can is not economically the best choice, unless you’re planning to go big.  It makes sense that the local breweries would take advantage of all the features of shrink sleeve labels.  Variable Data, Fast changing Expiration or Bottling Dates, Quick design changes, and more.

New Roll to Roll Labels

Columbia Label, a division of Rippedsheets.com, is offering new roll to roll labels. Get high quality labels in large quantities and at a lower cost.

For over a decade, our sister company, Rippedsheets.com, and us, Columbia Label, has been an industry leader in custom labels. Over 550 different materials are offered and most of them can be die-cut to any shape or size, as well as custom printed. Now, with us, Columbia Label, our product line has been expanded to include roll to roll labels. Roll labels have a different function than sheet labels, but both have their advantages.

Roll to roll labels are printed faster than sheet labels, which means less cost and less waste while keeping a high quality print. The lower cost allows even small companies to get a large quantity of labels with a professional look. These are not just thermal roll labels, but there are several different materials available that can be printed in full color.

With the new roll to roll labels, Rippedsheets.com is helping smaller companies transition and grow. The capabilities are constantly growing and the research team is constantly looking for new materials and applications.
